BOP Paintball Club @ TECT Park Open Day

March 27, 2017

On Sunday TECT Park had an annual open day for the public to see whats on offer and to encourage new members to get on board. In between the substantial down pours of rain we managed to get visitors and familes to have a shoot, pop off some rounds at targets and show them some live displays of 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2 mini paintball games.

We received good feedback from the punters and many were interested in hearing about our plans over the next year with our development of a speedball field and bush ball playing areas located at TECT Park.. There was also a film crew shooting video footage for a promotional video about TECT Park. and the clubs that reside within it. We had a bit of fun with the camera crew and managed to not get them splattered with to much paint.

At this stage we should be operational with our speedball area by Novemeber just in time for us to host the last round of the NZLS (NZ Local Series). Players and teams from all around the North Island travel to attend this event with some good watching for spectators as well.

If you are interested in keeping up to date with our local Tauranga and Rotorua paintball club days and how are site develeopments are going, then please join our BOP Paintball facebook page or visit this website for more updates. All new members are welcome.
